Thursday, May 2, Make A Wish Volunteer Meeting at noon until 1 PM. Walmart is providing our working lunch and we will go over our walk and talk about what worked and what we can do better. New members are always welcome. Hwy 39 at Lauderdale County Farm Bureau.
Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, Make A Wish is doing a garage sale at 10162 McCraw Rd for Mr Earl. He is having to sell his house due to health problems so we are going in to help him sale the last items so he can get his home ready for the market. All sales will go to MAW to grant wishes but we are helping him by getting some of this stuff out of the way. It is a win win for both of us.
Saturday, May 18, Quitman Singles at Living Word Church at 6:30 PM, I will be leading the Bible Study on 5 Love Langues of Singles and the topic will be Quality Time. This is a great study. It is potluck so bring your favorite dish to share and join us for door prizes, meal, and study. Invite a friend.
Friday and Saturday, May 24 and 25 from 7 AM to 2 PM back to 10165 Lynwood Drive Tanglewood Estates for our monthly garage sale for our team. New items each month and yes this is how our team wins first place most the time. Thanks to everyone who helped with this last year. Our team raised 14100.00 making us first place again. We raised for the walk a total of over 40000 and broke our record wide open.
Diane is planning a cookout for us at The Mark and pool party on June 1, so get with me or Diane so we can get you on the sign up list.
Remember we are forming our committees now for the September 7 Singles Conference at Northcrest and this is for all churches and singles so get with me now and be part of this great event that is sponsored by our Mississippi Baptist Convention Board.
Recycling for April was 62.00
Remember the inkjet cartridges and old locks and keys
Our class has moved to the multipurpose bulding but you can see me to drop off all items are place outside the multipurpose building under the stairs in back of the kitchen. Courtney and I check it each time when we are at church.
